A bit about me
It’s good to know who you’re working with and that works both ways. I’m a family man, father of three, husband and creative. I have many creative passions and photography has long been one of them.
I’m based in the beautiful Forest of Bowland where we relocated to in 2022 from East Anglia - Essex, but I’ve lived throughout the U.K. and worked internationally for many years, so don’t get hung up on location, I’ll travel anywhere for the right project.
I’ve always been a creative, visual person, but despite my formal training in the arts and almost two decades in the design industry, it’s only in recent years I’ve put that experience to use through my photography.
Above all, I love what I do and take great pride in my work, as well as the relationships I foster through collaborations and commissions.
My Ethos
To me, photography is much more than just capturing a moment in time, it’s about capturing the experience and emotion to tell a visual story.
It’s easy to capture a visual moment in time, but when you look back at it in years to come, does it reignite the emotion of that moment, rarely. My ambition is to capture not only how that moment looked, but how it felt in those unforgettable moments.
As a designer I’ve been composing visuals with light, colour, texture and form to convey concepts my entire career. Dynamic and creative composition is a fundamental skill, not just for interior design but any style of photography. With this, you won’t get run-of-the-mill shots, where’s the fun in that? I aspire to capture something unique and personal for every client, regardless of the subject.
